Toddler Beds for Boys
Your son has reached everyone’s favorite age group, the toddler years! Now that he’s ready to move out of the crib, it’s time to purchase a toddler bed. You’re faced with the dilemma of choosing a bed he’ll be comfortable in. The first decision you have to make is if you want a traditional bed or something a little more imaginative. Choosing the former means it will easily match with the room’s decor and you don’t have to worry about him hating it in 3 months. You can liven up a traditional bed with cartoon characters or sports bedding.
If you decide on the latter, most of your choices include race cars. Not only are there race car and truck shaped toddler beds, there are numerous Disney Cars themed beds. I never understood the fascination with cars, but every boy will be ecstatic when he finds a fire truck or old fashioned race car bed in his room. Is your son a sea lover? Non-traditional beds will look best with simple bedding, otherwise it can be a bit overwhelming. His room doesn’t need to look like Toy Land but accessorize appropriately so his room is a fun place to be in.
