The Toddler Bed Shows Love
Your wife tells you that she is pregnant. There is a glimmer of fear on her face and for a split second you sense the feeling of fright. But you embrace her and tell her that you love her and that you’re so happy. You hug her and kiss her and love her like you will love the baby when he or she is born.
You love the baby entirely differently when she is born. You love the baby like it is the purest liquid in the world, like that child will one day be able to give to the world what you never could, never can. You love her differently than your wife because your wife is a kind of equal. This child is better than you and ironically enough, it is up to you to continue making her better.
You go shopping. You want the finest infant crib bedding. When she’s older you want the finest toddlers furniture, toddler bed, and then childrens twin bedding. You never want her to be cold, never want her to be scared, but you know deep down and don’t want to admit it, that she will be sometimes, that that is what it means to live and grow, but you want to do all you can to protect her. But you buy good infant crib bedding anyway.
